Hygieia is a skincare brand selling on Amazon, with its Smart Serum, a bio-active idebenone and liposomal delivery formula, as a core listing.
The brand also carries a broader catalog that includes creams and moisturizing products, all with their respective Amazon A+ content design.
Hygieia's primary audience is women aged approximately 45 to 65, a demographic that responds to skincare content built around demonstrated results rather than dense scientific explanation.
Hygieia partnered with BellaVix to expand its presence in the platform and establish the brand as an authority in the Beauty niche.
This included a complete review of the brand's A+ Content, with the goal of creating content that better supported purchase decisions while establishing more cohesive brand identity across the catalog.
A+ Content Could Be Improved
The original A+ content relied on technical explanations; liposomal delivery and bio-active idebenone, broken into modules.
It wasn't bad, but there was a gap between the customers and the message. Each concept was explained scientifically, but with no clear translation of how it can benefit the customer.
There was also the fact that layouts were inconsistent across modules:
- Typography and color treatment varied from section to section.
- Some modules used dense paragraph text stacked under bold callout labels, while others used icon grids with minimal explanation.
- This lack of structure made it difficult for shoppers to scan the content and extract the information relevant to a purchase decision.
The original A+ content design looked like this:
cPremium A+ Content
The redesigned A+ content replaced the first structure with a cohesive visual identity carried consistently across the full module set.
- Typography, color palette, and layout structure are now uniform from the opening brand introduction through the FAQ and trust badge sections, where the original content shifted format repeatedly.
- Scientific concepts were reframed as benefit statements paired with supporting imagery.
- Ingredient information, previously spread across, was condensed into a single scannable list format.
A FAQ module was added to address common product questions directly, a structure absent from the original content. Trust signal icons (no harsh ingredients, dermatologist tested, 60-day satisfaction promise, cruelty free) were retained but restyled to match the new visual system.

Final Thoughts
Skincare is a category where ingredient science often drives brand differentiation, but that same science becomes a barrier when it is not translated into terms the shopper can understand and act on.
Hygieia's original content assumed a level of engagement with technical explanation that the format did not support, given how quickly shoppers scan A+ modules.
The redesign demonstrates that maintaining scientific credibility requires structuring the content around what the customer will experience, supported by consistent visual identity and a simplified information hierarchy.
Your A+ Content is Costing You Sales
Most Amazon skincare brands are sitting on ingredient science shoppers never actually understand. The result of that translates into poor conversions.
Hygieia's redesign turned technical claims into visible outcomes and built a brand identity that holds together from the hero image to the FAQs section. That shift is repeatable for your catalog.
