New Amazon FBM Features Give Sellers More Control Over Deliveries and Schedules

New Amazon FBM features are available for sellers. These updates are designed to give you more control over delivery promises, scheduling, and inventory across multiple locations. If you manage your own shipping, these changes can make your daily workflow smoother and help you keep your listings visible while still protecting your time.

One of the most helpful updates is the ability to set your own holidays.

In the past, taking time off meant switching to vacation mode, which temporarily removed your listings from search results. Now you can mark specific days as holidays without hiding your products. Amazon will automatically adjust delivery dates so customers know when to expect their order, and you can take a break without hurting your visibility.

Amazon has also added a new Locations tab inside your shipping settings.

This lets you customize the operating schedule for each warehouse or workspace you use. You can set different working days, carrier pickup times, and cut-off times for each location. When you use Shipping Settings Automation, these details help Amazon generate more accurate delivery estimates for your buyers.

Another improvement comes from added transparency around delivery dates.

FBM order reports now include new columns showing the handling and transit times used to calculate delivery promises. If something looks off, you can adjust handling times per SKU or per location directly in the FBM Inventory Manager. This makes it easier to stay consistent and avoid late-shipment issues.

For sellers managing stock across multiple warehouses, Amazon has also improved multi-location inventory tools.

You can now enroll SKUs and update quantities through the Manage All Inventory page. If you use integrators like Sellercloud, Linnworks, Etail Solutions, SureDone, or Fellowship, you can keep managing your inventory directly through their platforms. API and feed file updates are also supported for more complex setups.

These updates may seem small individually, but together they make FBM simpler, clearer, and much more flexible. With better control over schedules, more accurate delivery promises, and easier multi-location management, FBM sellers can operate with more confidence through busy seasons and day-to-day changes.
