The Business Discount Insights page recommends setting prices and discounts for business customers. Here’s how to navigate to the page:

  • Sign in to Seller Central and click on the menu icon on the left-hand panel.
  • Hover over “B2B” and click on “B2B Central.”
  • On the B2B Central page, click “Business Discount Insights” at the top of the page.

Using the Page

The page displays the top 10 ASINs (Amazon Standard Identification Numbers) with recommended actions for sellers. You can download the full report or click on “Manage Inventory” to access specific product details.

The recommendations help sellers optimize pricing and discounts for their business customers.

Remember, you need a verified account to offer special pricing to business customers.

Eligibility

To check if you have a verified Amazon Business account, follow the steps mentioned below:

  • Go to Settings and Account Info

  • Go to Your Services and confirm if you are registered as Amazon Business   

Setting Up Quantity Discounts

Quantity discount recommendations are determined based on common quantities Amazon Business customers purchase in the same subcategory.

To set up a quantity discount for an existing product, 

  • Locate the product on the “Manage Pricing” page

  • Click “Add Quantity Discounts” in the business price column.
  • Select either percent off business price or fixed prices in the pop-up window. Percent off offers discounts based on a minimum purchase quantity, while fixed prices let you offer pre-determined discounted prices.

  • After entering all your discounts, click “Set Prices.”

Business pricing is a discounted price available exclusively to Amazon Business customers. The recommended discount is based on the average business discount set by other sellers in the same subcategory and price band of the ASIN.
